Resin Specific Drum Flaker is a device specially designed to convert molten resin materials into solid flakes. Its working principle is to transport the molten resin to the surface of the rotating cooling drum through an immersion tank, and the melt forms a thin layer on the drum surface, which is quickly cooled and solidified, and finally the solidified flakes are scraped off the drum surface by a scraper. The equipment is usually equipped with a built-in cooling system, which realizes efficient heat exchange by spraying cooling media (such as water or ethylene glycol) to ensure that the melt is solidified in a short time. According to the characteristics of the material, the equipment can adopt different feeding methods, such as immersion, application roller or stirring roller, to meet the processing needs of materials with different viscosities and heat sensitivity. In addition, the design of the equipment takes into account the needs of continuous production, has stable operating performance and low energy consumption, and is suitable for large-scale production of resin materials. The Resin Specific Drum Flaker adopts a double-layer jacket cooling structure to achieve segmented gradient cooling of the resin melt on the drum surface. The high-temperature resin is delivered to the drum surface at a constant flow through a metering pump, and gradually cooled in different areas to ensure uniform curing of the resin and prevent internal stress or structural damage. The drum speed is adjustable (2–10 r/min), which is convenient for parameter optimization and control according to resin materials with different melting points and thermal sensitivity to ensure strong thermal stability during the processing. This structure is particularly suitable for heat-sensitive resins such as phenolic, polyamide, and epoxy to ensure stable sheet quality.
Excellent product consistency
The equipment is equipped with a high-precision synchronous rotary cutter system. The knife group speed runs completely synchronously with the drum surface linear speed, and the slice thickness tolerance can be controlled within ±0.1mm. This level of dimensional control is critical to downstream mixing, packaging, hot melt and other processes, and is particularly suitable for applications where the resin is sensitive to particle size distribution. Different specifications (such as Φ800×800 to Φ2000×3000) are equipped with corresponding power systems (power range 3kw to 18.5kw) to ensure that the cutting force and stability match the equipment specifications, so as to ensure that different models still have consistent processing accuracy under high load conditions.
Energy-saving structure design
The variable frequency speed drive technology is adopted, which can save 18%-22% of electricity consumption in actual operation compared with traditional fixed frequency motors. This energy-saving advantage comes from the fact that the variable frequency drive can automatically adjust the motor operating frequency according to load changes, reduce idling and overload energy consumption, especially on production lines with many types of resins and large output fluctuations. For example, models of Φ1500 and above are matched with 7.5-18.5kw main motors, which can flexibly adjust speed and torque under different resin types, taking into account energy saving and stability. Under long-term operation, the energy-saving structure directly leads to a decrease in operating costs, improving production economy and equipment cost performance.
Multiple specifications covered
Product specifications range from Φ400×400 to Φ2000×3000, covering a variety of production capacity requirements from experimental development to industrial mass production. The largest specification model (SQJ2000Ⅲ) has a daily processing capacity of up to 25 tons per unit, which is suitable for large-scale continuous resin production processes. The standardized production capacity is 10 units/month, and it supports non-standard customization (such as explosion-proof type, food grade), reflecting strong industrial adaptability and delivery capabilities. Combined with the existing configuration, its reference size can be up to 4700×3000×2800mm, which meets the requirements of large chemical companies for equipment structure strength, continuous stability, material adaptability and other aspects.
